EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles
In short
The EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles is a Commission Communication, adopted on 30 March 2022. It is non-binding and creates no legal obligation for companies of any size, so there is nothing to comply with and no date from which it applies. It has not been repealed or replaced, and a forthcoming Circular Economy Act is expected to complement it rather than replace it.
