The four kinds of work

When you are asked for evidence

By a customer, a tender, an auditor or a border.

EU rulesSustainability & EU Regulatory Consulting

For SMEs in any sector being asked about EU sustainability rules by customers, auditors or authorities.

We read the official texts article by article and set out which rules are likely to reach you, from which date, and what they ask of you, including what is not yet settled. Our register goes deepest in textiles, water and food; rules on claims, packaging, reporting, imports and forced labour reach every sector. Guidance, not legal advice.

What you receive
  • The EU instruments we track that are likely to reach you, each cited to its article and date
  • A gap list and a dated plan
  • Product claims reviewed against Directive (EU) 2024/825, as guidance, not legal advice
  • Answers for customer questionnaires: CSRD and VSME requests, CBAM, textile EPR
Who you work with
  • Dr Naveen KumarSustainability Technology DirectorPhD in applied physics, University of Twente. Works on sustainability in fertiliser technology, the goods CBAM now prices at the border.
  • Nilesh SahuProduct DevelopmentWorks on product and supplier data: what to collect, in what structure, and how to keep it current. Process optimisation and CSRD reporting experience.

Product and supplier dataDigitalization & AI Services

For brands, manufacturers and plant operators whose product, supplier or process data lives in spreadsheets, PDFs and inboxes.

Most of what a customer or regulator asks for already exists somewhere in your company or your supply chain. We find it, decide what to collect and in what structure, and set up the process that keeps it current. Document-reading tools are used where they save time, and a person checks every value.

What you receive
  • A data map: what you hold, where it sits and who owns it
  • Supplier data requests for each tier, in the structure you need back
  • Document reading set up where it saves time, each value reviewed and linked to its source
  • A process your own team runs, on your own systems
Who you work with
  • Sreenath KarivetiStrategy AdvisorTook a digital monitoring venture for wastewater treatment plants through a corporate venture programme, from idea to customers’ signed letters of intent.
  • Nilesh SahuProduct DevelopmentWorks on product and supplier data: what to collect, in what structure, and how to keep it current. Process optimisation and CSRD reporting experience.
  • Rohan Ravi ManiProduct DevelopmentWorks on how a company runs its product and supplier data itself: the process its own team follows after the handover, and what keeps it running. Lean manufacturing and strategy experience from industry.

When your technology is between the lab and the factory

Readiness levels 4 to 6, where grants tend to end and investors tend to wait.

Readiness, levels 4 to 6Innovation Management

For researchers, spin-outs and SMEs with a technology validated in the lab, at readiness levels 4 to 6.

Between the lab and the first production run, research grants end and investors wait. We read where your technology stands on the nine readiness levels Horizon Europe uses, plan the evidence the next level needs, and look for the calls and partners that could pay for it. We award no money.

What you receive
  • A readiness reading, with the evidence behind it and the gaps
  • A plan to the next level: the tests, the milestones and the kind of pilot partner to look for
  • EU, Dutch and regional calls that fit, and the partners a consortium would need
  • Dissemination of project results, the role we hold in DPP4CD
Who you work with
  • Dr Pramod AgrawalTextile Technology DirectorOne of the people behind SaXcell, a fibre made from cotton waste: explored at Saxion from 2011, a pilot plant in 2020, a commercial denim programme in 2026.
  • Sreenath KarivetiStrategy AdvisorTook a digital monitoring venture for wastewater treatment plants through a corporate venture programme, from idea to customers’ signed letters of intent.

Go-to-marketStartup Strategic Consulting

For founders and corporate venture teams taking a sustainable or industrial technology to its first customers.

The hardest step is rarely the technology. It is the first buyer who signs, and knowing what a pilot has to prove to them. We work through it with you: which segment to start in, what to offer and at what price, and what an industrial buyer’s sustainability team will ask for.

What you receive
  • The first customers to approach, in order, and why
  • A value proposition and pricing to test with industrial buyers
  • A pilot plan: what it must prove, and the data a buyer will ask for
  • Preparation for investor and grant conversations

How an engagement starts

The same way for all four kinds of work.

  1. A first conversation

Tell us what you are being asked for, or trying to reach. We say plainly whether we are the right people for it.

  2. A written proposal

Scope, what you will receive, who does the work, timing and price, agreed before anything starts.

  3. The work, with the people named here

The people named for the service do the work, from the first call to the handover.

Not sure which of the four it is?

Tell us what arrived, or where the technology stands. Most first calls start there.
