Regulation (EU) 2024/3015
Regulation on prohibiting products made with forced labour on the Union market
In short
This Regulation bans products made with forced labour from being placed on the EU market, made available or exported. It binds every economic operator directly, whatever its sector, size or origin, including importers, distributors and online sellers, and it catches a product where only one part or input was made with forced labour. The remedy is an order to withdraw and dispose of the product at the operator's cost; enforcement and penalties are national.
It applies in full from 14 December 2027, and Member States must notify their penalty rules by 14 December 2026.
